So yesterday 14th August 2021 here is the moment Fife Properties Owner, Jim Parker took Chairperson Helen Ironside by surprise.

Helen though Jim was just there to do a vlog about the final push on crowdfunding of £6,000 to complete their total raised of £182,000 for the park:

Post-coronavirus party plans in Fife town (2 min read)

 

Cupar’s Haugh Park will host a big party in September to celebrate the end of the coronavirus pandemic.

‘C in the Park’ is the brainchild of funeral director Steven Stewart, who is working with local DJ Alan White to organise the event to bring the community together.

The event would see bands performing on the bandstand, DJ sets and more, with locals being asked to put forward their suggestions for the party. (more…)

I know of many Fife buy-to-let landlords who fell into property investing by accident. Many didn’t want to sell their family home when the Fife housing market crashed in the Credit Crunch of 2009/10, yet still needed to move (often for work). They thought they would keep their Fife family home in case they ever moved back to Fife. Yet by keeping it, it couldn’t remain empty (there was still a mortgage to pay on it), so they ended up renting their home out. (more…)
