Jim Parker commented, “The people of St Monans have been so good to us and I had been thinking for a long time about what I could do for them and this just felt right”.

Here’s what it’s all about:

St Monans is a coastal village located within the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. It is a beautiful village home to many families as well as being visited by tourists from all over the world. However, it is seriously lacking in good quality, inclusive play equipment.

Currently, there are limited and poorly equipped play facilities within the villages of St Monans and Abercrombie for children. This crowdfunder aims to help create a new, multi accessible inclusive play park for children (local, as well as visitors) from toddlers to early teens. This will be the only inclusive park in East Fife.

The current park has equipment which is approximately twenty years old. These are basic models and provide limited stimulus to toddlers and children. There was a skateboard park on this site but the equipment was removed in 2018 as it had fallen into disrepair.
